PURPOSE. Glass poly-alcenate cement (glass ionomer) "BASELINE" is designed for:

• making radiopaque pads and linings while working with composite materials and amalgam;
• primary teeth filling;
• temporary filling;
• crown fixing.

PROPERTIES. Cement "BASELINE" is highly biocompatible with the tissues of the tooth. It is characterized by very high compressive strength (200 MPa) and chemical resistance.

"BASELINE" powder is a mixture of aluminum-fluorine-silicate glass and poly-acrylic acid. After being mixed with distilled water it forms a fast setting solid strong material. Radiopaque. Working time with fillings is 1 min 40 sec, layings - 2 min 10 seconds.

Setting time for sealing: 2-3 min., for laying: from 4 min 15 sec to 5 min.

PHYSICAL AND TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• compression strength: 200 ± 20 MPa.;
• acid erosion: not more than 0.1%;
• adhesion to dentin: 4 ± 1 MPa.

THE SET CONTAINS:

• "BASELINE" powder, color B2 - 1 vial of 8 g.;
• accessories: bottle dropper for water, powder measurer, mixing pad;
• instruction for use.

STORAGE. Upon completion the vial with the powder should be tightly closed, protected from moisture. Penetration of moisture worsens the properties of material and may spoil it completely. Shelf life of the material is 2 years when stored at temperature not above 25°C.
